1. About these terms

These terms of use govern your access to and use of the RiskHelper.ai website and the assessment tools (together, "the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Risk Helper LLC ("we", "us", "RiskHelper"). Our registered address is 1500 N GRANT ST # 7749, DENVER, CO 80203.

2. The Service - what it is and what it is not

What the Service does

RiskHelper.ai provides free and paid assessment tools that help Product Managers identify which risk and compliance areas may be relevant to a product feature or idea. The assessments ask a series of questions and return a directional result indicating which risk domains (privacy, AI risk, online safety, and children's safety) may apply to your product.

Not legal advice

The Service provides directional guidance only. It is expressly not legal advice. The output of any assessment is a starting point for further investigation - not a legal opinion, a compliance sign-off, or a substitute for review by a qualified legal or compliance professional.

RiskHelper does not provide legal services. No solicitor-client or attorney-client relationship is created by your use of the Service. Nothing on the site or in the assessment results should be relied upon as legal or regulatory advice.

No guarantee of accuracy or completeness

Regulatory requirements change. The assessment framework reflects our understanding of applicable laws at the time of development and may not reflect the most recent changes. The assessment covers US, EU, UK, and Canadian regulatory contexts but is not exhaustive of all jurisdictions or all applicable obligations in those jurisdictions.

3. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to facilitate, plan, or assist with any unlawful activity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying assessment logic or data models
• Use automated tools to access the Service at a volume or frequency that would unreasonably burden our infrastructure
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls on the Service
• Misrepresent the Service's output to others - for example, presenting an assessment result as legal advice or a compliance certification

4. Intellectual property

The Playground Framework, the assessment methodology, the question sets, the routing logic, and all associated text, design, and software are the intellectual property of RiskHelper and are protected by copyright. All rights are reserved.

You may use the output of assessments (your personal results) for your own internal business purposes. You may not reproduce or commercialise the assessment questions, methodology, or framework without our written permission.

The RiskHelper.ai name and any associated logos or marks are the property of RiskHelper. You may not use them without our written permission.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RiskHelper and its founders, officers, and employees will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Service availability

We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, please stop using the Service.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Colorado, unless local law requires otherwise.
